In February of 1970 he started his machinist apprenticeship,he completed it in June of 1975, he worked as a machinist for the Milwaukee Railroad until September of 1985, then he transferred to Minneapolis and worked at the Soo Line until September of 1996, at that time Jack transferred to St. Paul and worked for the Canadian Pacific Railroad.

 Jack has been a long time member of the IAM and has done many jobs in the local, he will be missed  greatly!  We all wish him a happy and long retirement.
