Meet Union Pacific Machinists Kenton Keiner and Mark Saunders

Meet IAMAW Local Lodge 112 Machinists Kenton Keiner (L) and Mark Saunders (R) from Union Pacific Railways in St Paul, MN.

Kenton Keiner started with Union Pacific in July after working as an Aircraft Mechanic with NWA for 16 years.  He also served as an Aircraft Mechanic in the United States Navy  for 6 years.   He spent 2 years aboard the Aircraft Carrier Roosevelt as an A6 Intruder Mechanic and also served 4 years at the South Pole repairing and maintaining C130's for the Navy. 

Kent and his wife Suzanne reside in Prescott, Wisconsin where they're raising their 12 year old son Reggie who's into Go-Cart Racing and playing Football. 

 

Mark Saunders is a proud veteran Railroad Machinist.  Having worked in his craft for 33 years Mark currently applies his experience as the, "Mechanic in Charge of Servicing and Incidental Maintenance", in St. Paul, for Union Pacific Railways.  Mark began his career with the Chicago Northwestern out of Cedar Lake in Minneapolis in 1974 when he was 18 years old and fresh out of High School.  He continues his career today with the Union Pacific Railroad who purchased the CNW in 1995.

Mark and his wife Ann are raising 2 boys, Scotty (15) and Carl (13), who love to play Hockey and Football.  Mark enjoys spending his free time restoring a pair of Corvettes, a 1974 and 1998.
